James Lynch on the side of a radio tower building in Jacksonville Beach, Fl.
This gorgeous, majestic series of whale and dolphin murals surrounds a radio tower in Jax Beach, close to 17th Ave N.
Created in 2007 and tagged “James Lynch”, this mural is close to Fletcher Middle School along the Jax Beach / Neptune Beach border. The mural’s three panels – two facing 3rd Street and the long edge that wraps around facing 17th Ave N – has great visibility to the public. Though the mural and building have seen better days, it’s glory and beauty still hold true.
Blue tones cover the wall – blue water, vivid blue sky with arching dolphins and porpoises zooming around massive depictions of some of Earth’s largest mammals, the blue whale.
